hi @Jameslee12
did you try what suggested above? it likely not a faulty sim and don't need replacement
but if you like to get a new one, get it from
Telus or Koodo store https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/pick-up-SIM
Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/

It looks like the issue I experienced yesterday with excessive data usage was caused by a failing SIM card. How can I get a new one?

HI @Jameslee12
don't get a new sim card yet, Sim card probably not not the cause to high usage. With SIM, it either connect to the network or not, it won't cause high usage.
Check the app on your phone first. Check which app used the data. if you are on iPhone, you need to reset data statistics and you can then monitor for couple days or weeks with the usage
if you really think something wrong with the system/account, please submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".

You can find them in convince stores like 7/11 or other shops near you. Best option is to Google a public Mobile sim (they use to sell theon Amazon, but I'm not sure if they do anymore) then you're able to link the new Sim to your old number and then you'd be good to go. Hope this helps
