Hello, my wife is determined to port her current Koodoo service to Public Mobile immediately using my PM verification code..She will want to keep her current phone number.Please kindly advise me on what steps to take.

Did the payment card get charged for the plan amount? Did you make it through the payment page and then receive the error code? Put the pm SIM card in a working phone and check for any working services? Calls? Text? Data?

Hello,

Thanks for always assisting. I tried to assist my wife with porting her line from Koodo today but we have received error code 821 and we were advised to submit a ticket. She believes she is on a postpaid plan and as such will not need to choose a new number temporarily please kindly advise.

@Shina   If your wife has Koodo Postpaid plan, then it is the same as porting from other carrier.   Make sure her Koodo account is still active.   Get a PM SIM (preferably in store for getting it quicker), then activate online at https://activate.publicmobile.ca/ , you can request porting there by putting in the Koodo account number.  At page 4 , enter the Friend Referral code from you and the promo code.

 

However, if your wife as a Koodo Prepaid plan, you will NOT be requesting porting during activation.  Instead , you pick a new number first , serve as a temporary number.  Once activation is completed, then she will open a ticket with PM Support and have the support the manually port the Koodo number into PM
