Question about text messages . . .

I am a new customer. 

Few questions: 

1) I have the $25 per month plan, am I able to send & receive international texts at no charge?

2) From what I understand iMessage uses data?  My wife & I both have iphones & txt each other at home via IMessage.  If I go out & my data is turned on, will I be charged to txt her, as i assuming we will still me communicating via IMessage? 

3) Does texting pictures count towards my data, or can I send unlimited pics?

1. Yes, you can send int'l SMS/MMS messages at no charge.

2. iMessage is Apple's proprietary messaging service. If you and your wife both use it and you are away from WiFi, then yes, data will be used. But iMessage won't use any data if you're on WiFi. 3. Regular SMS and MMS won't count towards data. You can disable iMessage and just use basic SMS/MMS if you're concerned, but again, check out the link above for an explanation so you can weigh your options.

1. Yes.

2. iMessage can use wifi or cell data. It can also send normally via SMS.

3. It can also send normally via MMS. But if you don't let it use those normally then you will be using wifi or cell data. Using normal MMS would not consume your data. Using iMessage would.
