Hey @Lima1,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
The issue occurred because the number you tried porting in is not active with your old service provider. In this case, you can either:
1 - change your phone number
2- contact your old service provider and have them reactivate your services for porting purposes.
Please confirm via private message - I will be more than happy to help 🙂

Please realize that these message are viewable by anyone and you really shouldn't be posting your phone number like that because there are many companies who search itnernet messages boards for phone numbers and then add numbers to calling lists.
Any of your personal informaiton should only be sent by private message and only to Public Mobile employees.

Now it says your number is not assigned. I can make outgoing calls still.
@Lima1 You replied to the wrong post so I moved it back to your initial thread.
So, same questions:
- did you recently transfer a number to Public Mobile? When and which one?
- what is your phone make/model?

Am also finding that I can make calls and send texts, however cannot receive.
Ported a week ago from Bell.
When people call me they receive a message "6UC1 The number you have reached is not in service"
Have a support email in - hopefully it's something they can fix on the back end.

If you've JUST ported, I would wait maybe 24 hours before sending the mods a message. It can take some time for incoming calls/texts to work.

Did you recently transfer a number from another carrier? If so, which and when?
