I have a friend that tried to sign up on Friday, and they didn’t know about this promotion. They tried to use my referral code, and it said it didn’t work unless it was a $29 or above plan (they were signing up for the $22 plan). Can they not still get the regular credit?

Yes, there is currently a promo for $29 plans. You get a $15 one time credit within 45 days and they get $10 within 72 hours and then $15 within 45 days. However, there is no reason why the code wouldn't work. The $10 credit still works on any plan. You will have to ask them to create an account here on the forums and THEY will have to contact a CS Agent to advise the code didn't work. They will need some information from you so be prepared. Here's how they can properly reach a CS Agent when they log in.

Friend code works for all plan.  Your friend could have typed in wrong

ask your friend to activate first even without the code.  He can then ask PM to add it back to claim the $10 credit

Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA  code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)    When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
