Yes you can switch from a SIM to eSIM but it will cost you for the eSIM. You can receive a free if you are switching the eSIM from the old phone to a new phone.
I prefer the SIM because switching from an old phone to new phone by popping it out to the new phone or phones.

Thanks again, I tried again and it worked this time. Perhaps I didn’t wait long enough. All good now. My only question now is can I change the physical sim to an e sim? Ugh I forgot about my work SIM card. I switched my person number which was the e sim

Did you reply to the text from Bell confirming you are porting over to PM with YES?
If you did then reboot your phone by powering off then back on.
If you didn’t then you need to contact a CS_Agent to contact Bell to resend the text to you. You have 90 minutes to reply to the text.

exactly what the problem you have?
does the sim connect to PM network? you can make outbound calls? data work? only inbound calls and text do not work?
