Hi @Fooboto does it mean that the number on my old phone will be transferred to the new phone when I get a new eSIM on the new phone, as well as long as I log in to the app on the new phone with the same user name? Thanks, I wanted to clarify as I am doing this process this week.

I should have bought the SIM card from Amazon. Buying it from the app takes 10 business days to arrive (Amazon is 4 days regular shipping) and the process seems the same, you will need to put the SIM card # on your profile to attach it to your existing phone # anyways. Next time, when I port other numbers from family members, I will buy from Amazon instead.

hi @MC_J
yes, whichever sim you pick does not matter, your number will go with it. Just need to make sure you login My Account using the same email address

@hTideGnow just to clarify, this is true when buying from the app for both physical SIM and eSIM (phone number will be carried over), right? Thanks

Also make sure your new phone is eSIM compatible. Many new members don’t check and got the FREE eSIM and later finding out that the phone is not eSIM compatible and then try to contact a CS_Agent to help transfer to a SIM.
Check in the settings for Add eSIM in the Cellular settings.
