I wanted to transfer my phone number from Zoomer wireless to PM, chose Cityfone as current provided, but all I received was a mess

HI @AlzbetaN 

you did the right phone to put Cityfone 

but Zoomer does not send a text message to confirm porting out.  you can call  Zoomer at 1-888-281-2107 to confirm the port-out (but you don't need to ask them to close the account.  Once ported is done, account will be closed)
