When I prepaid my monthly subscription amount for public mobility the receipt shows payment to Koodo ??? anyone know the reason for this

Yes I do, @Bmvanbese
Koodo and public mobile are both subsidiaries of Telus.
They (specifically public mobile and Koodo prepaid) share similar back-end systems including payment systems.
