I sent a PM to the Moderator, but as I wait to hear back I'm wondering if I even needed to contact them. I just activated with Public Mobile and my phone number is with Koodo. I was previously with PC Mobile before they were purchased by koodo. I'm wondering if a Moderator still needs to port my number or if I can just use the self serve to port since is a post-paid koodo service. I'm still on the same plan I had when I was with pc mobile. Anyone know?

It's the carrier brand that matters, not how you got there or the particular plan. For Koodo post paid, you can do porting yourself. Prepaid must be done through the moderator team.

@tacha59, is your Koodo prepaid, or postpaid? If it's the former, then you need the moderator's assistance.
Postpaid, you should be able to do it yourself via My Account - Change Phonenumber

@tacha59So you activated a temporary number? If your service is activated and running you should be able log into self serve, select change number then select transfer number to port / transfer in from koodo Post-Paid as long as you used a different email address when signing up.
