Porting issue

I ported over yesterday. Everything was fine, now today my other half is receiving my sms from a different number then I ported. She will reply to my ported number and i get it no problem. Everyone else so far is getting from the ported number when I sms

It may take time for your old phone plan to be nixed, and the porting to go through, or yea, maybe some authorization didn't get put in correctly

Confirm what phone number you have on file (your PM account). If you see ported number as your number that would mean porting was successful.

Did you definitely keep your old provider SIM card in your device and respond YES to the port authorization request within the allotted time frame?

 

If not, reinitiate the port with public mobile.

Also try rebooting your device, resetting your network connections, and toggling airplane mode on/off. Sometimes those little tricks resets the connection with the network.
