Hi there I am trying to port my existing number from Koodo Prepaid to Public Mobile but it says it's invalid number and doesn't let proceed further.

it is a manual process to bring in a number from Koodo Prepaid
the line with the new number has to be activated first. With the line activated with the temp number, PM can then port in your Koodo number to replace that temp line
you need to get that temp number so the account setup first. if you don't do that, they cannot port in the line as the account is not fully setup.

@TheN you can't ask PM to help yet if you have not fully activated the line
please use PM app to choose a new number, get to the last step to complete the activation first.

Thank you for your quick response, yes I have just submitted a ticket from the support with a detailed information. hoping someone will help me from the support team. (Yet I haven't activated the new number, just paid for the plan)

yes, more steps for porting from Koodo Prepaid. Setup a new number first. When the line is setup, submit a ticket and ask PM CS agent to port in the line for you.

You will need to contact customer service agent to manually complete port from Koodo prepaid to Public mobile. They share the same backend, so the port needs to manually done.
Send a ticket via the chatbot to customer service agent (CSA) via link:

to port from Koodo Prepaid, you need to get a new phone number first, a temporary number. After the account is setup, you will open a ticket with PM and ask them to move the line over
when you are ready to open ticket , when the PM line is setup, Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
But if you have trouble using Chatbot to open ticket, then message PM using this link:
