@belawrence - Moderators are known as Customer Support Agents (CSA).
Two ways to contact CSA:
1- Put in a ticket through SIMon Bot (usually faster method to get in contact with the Public Mobile Customer Support) by clicking on the bottom, right chat bubble.
OR
2- Private message the Customer Support here (slower method): https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Hello @belawrence hows your day going today?
so basically that might’ve been a scam message or, a mistake, maybe it was bell mobility with you’re phone number. Because public moblie you can only contact them through the moderators on the website. You can message me if you want help with that to contact the moderators? Quick note; I’m not a moderator just to let you know. sometimes your old carrier will message you about an error sometimes. Just saying..
If no one told you, you can only contact the moderators through a chat/ on the website. Also if you can’t get ahold of the mods here, I can help you, I check the community a couple times a day and I know a lot about public.

You should get a SMS message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to Transfer your number. Your reply should be: YES.
The confirmation message can take a few minutes to come in. You have 90 minutes from the time of request.
if you stuck with Transferring your old Phone Number, or is not complete processing
