Porting Freedom Mobile

I ordered two SIM Cards in order to switch my father and I from Freedom to PM. I ported my number over and activated my SIM, but when I went to do the same for my father's, it says in red that the porting was rejected by my Old Service Provider. Now , my father and I were were getting a family discount with Freedom, so we only had one account number but two separate phone numbers. What can I do to fix this? @Shazia_K

It's been 2 hours since I messaged the moderator. Is this normal? On the thread it said 20-60 mins

lol haha, oops, I totally forgot about that, thanks!

You also have a option to edit your posted msgs, if you go back to your old posted msg on right side you will notice 3 dots if you click on that then edit and rewrite your msg.

Right, I tried doing an activation and then printing, but after I select my plan and press continue, it says " Generic Error, please log in again"

Note the suggestion to activate with a new number, and to port-in AFTER your PM account is working.

I tried doing that still no luck

Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies

- Try using a different browser

- Try using incognito mode

- Try activating using a tablet or a cellphone

Yea, tried chrome,firefox, safari and on another laptop IE. No luck. When I try to activate without porting it kicks me out saying generic error, and asks me to log in again.

I called freedom, they said there wasnt an attempt for the second number at all. Okay will do, thank you.

Check with your service provider. Maybe something wrong from their end. If not then send a msg to mod dept they will look after you
