- You need the SIM of the carrier you are porting over to.

- Your existing account must be active and payment are kept up.

- Leave the old SIM in your phone then activate the new SIM.

- Reply to text with YES from your old carrier confirming you are porting over to the new carrier…you have 90 minutes to reply or porting will be cancelled.

- Porting will take about 90 minutes to 2 hours so old SIM will continue to work.

- Power off the phone once old SIM stopped working and swap the SIM.

That is it.

Frist, please check if your number can be ported to Public Mobile. After you're checked for that, this can either be done during the activation process or from the Profile section of your Self Serve account.
