I set up my new public mobile account and asked them to port over my phone number with phonebox (rogers network). That process went okay. I contacted phonebox and told them I'd like to port out my number. I'm wondering if any former phonebox customers had issues porting out? Should I cancel my activation with public mobile until I get the account number from phonebox?

@pilotguide if you checked your number is eligible, and if PhoneBox is not on the port in provider list, no worry, just activate with a temporary number first
Then after activation is done and tested working, go to My Account, Profile page, click Transfer Phone number and request porting from there by entering the phone number

@pilotguide you start the porting from PM side and no need to call Phonebox. Just try to get the account number from them
is Phonebox on the provider list now for port in request?
and check if the number can be ported into PM first
