This will depend ENTIRELY on whether you have already activated your Public Mobile SIM or not.
If you HAVEN'T, it's a simple process during the Public Mobile activation process. Make sure your Freedom account is active and you have your Freedom plan account number on hand (as you'll need that to ensure a smooth port to Public Mobile)
If you HAVE, and you're now wanting to port the Freedom number, to transfer your number after activation, go to your Self Serve Account:
You will need to provide the same information as requested during the activation process above.
Your previous service provider may also send an SMS text to validate the transfer, so ensure your old SIM card is still in your device so you can receive and respond to this message. Please do not replace your old SIM card with your Public SIM until the number has been successfully transferred.

You need to keep your Freedom account active during the porting process. Once the port is completed then your Freedom account will be closed.
Here is more info about porting.

Hi @davinderkaur ,
Edit, firstly, you will need to obtain a Public Mobile SIM card.
You can port your number during the Public Mobile SIM activation process.
