Please help. Text message wording changed

Bonesy

I sent a text message to a friend last night but the wording that she received was different than what I sent. I've never heard of an issue like that before. What happened?

This is what I sent.

Neither of us are tech experts so I don't think that's the case.

Thoughts?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and use the Samsung Messages app. She has an iPhone 17 and uses the default Messages app.

Thoughts?

hi @Bonesy

your phone number is saved on 2 different contacts on her phone

or the contact with your name on her phone has a different phone number as well

That is unusual.  Which messeging app are you using?  Don't think that it is a Public mobile issue.

Thank you for your thought but that isn't the case. I isolated the specific issue in my screenshots but saw the other messages and they were fine.

I'm really confused by what happened.

She's confused you with another and screen shot you the wrong message.
