Koodo is mostly postpaid though... Sure they have prepaid, but the majority are on postpaid. Don't have the option of postpaid/prepaid on PM.
Ya prices seem to be going up depending on the plan with PM which loses all of its appeal of why ppl went to PM in the first place

Koodo is post paid and the price can and WILL increase at least twice a year, but it is more reliable than PM because it is a Tier 2 carrier within Telus. PM is a Tier 3, so they get the lowest priority cause they make the least amount of money between the 3 carriers.
Kooodo isn't only postpaid. Also, Public Mobile can increase prices just the same as any other carrier (including Koodo) by giving 30 days of notice.

First, please note that Telus owns both Public Mobile and Koodo Wireless, PM is the Tier 3 and Koodo is the Tier 2 provider in the Telus family
And Public Mobile is not pushing you to Koodo. it is just a way for Telus to make sure that if you are moving to another carrier with more services, you will consider to move within the Telus family. It is just a marketing strategy.
Occasionally, you will also receive marketing email from other businesses within Telus family, such as Altima Telecom for home internet or other Telus Health products
