So... new to PM, when you look at all plans seems all are for new activations only... so I want to try out PM for my area with a$19 plan for now..... if service is good then I will switch to a slightly larger plan of $25 for 5G. But... that plan says for new activation so.... one can I switch ... two how much is it once on the $19 plan?

Hey @MJB1986

That's exactly what I did when I joined Public Mobile 7 years ago. I knew they were on the Telus network and I was in good distance of a few Telus towers but I still tested the waters. After that, I was good to go. And yes, I'd start off with the $19 plan. And if you feel the service is for you, then you can go into the app and upgrade to $25 plan. However, just know this. Public Mobile doesn't allow for people to downgrade plans. So make sure the $25 is what you want.

Here's a link that shows Telus coverage.

PM has made it a little difficult to downgrade your current plan. You are only eligible for plan in your account. So login to your account then to Subscription>Manage Subscription>Change Subscription and it will list all plans you are eligible for.
