My new 15gb plan shows up when I sign in on my husband's phone. When I sign in on my phone it shows I still have my old plan. This is ridiculous. How do I know which plan I actually have?

The system has a terrible problem with caching information.
Please try logging into your account using a browser in incognito or private mode first. Then do a refresh of the overview page using the little circular refresh wheel. Try again.
You'll then see your current plan and information.

@CrystalMiller86 hi you are probably just looking at a cached version of your account on your phone,use a different browser in private or incognito mode and sign back in
