My husband and I made a request for our plan to change on our next pay period (going to the $40 4g 5gb plan). We tried to use the 12gb promo code but it wouldn't work. He asked the community about it and was advised that the 12 gb promo was only for new customers. Last week my husband received a text from PM advising him that his plan was changing on renewal and that he was getting the 12gb bonus. I did not get the same text. Will I also be getting the 12gb bonus? If not, why not? Do I have to do something to generate the bonus?

You can get it too! Just go in your account and schedule the change for you next renewal.

The screenshot above is for all customers and that 15Gb's is for as long as you keep the plan...not just 12 months.

This wasn't a targetted over and availability for this plan was for anyone.

Sorry, I made a mistake. He got a text from PM asking him to text "yes" if he wanted 15gb of 4g for $40/month. He did reply yes but I never received any texts. Is this only going out to some customers?

Actually it probably better if you both schedule a change on your next renewal date to the new $40 plan with 15g data on 4G speed.
With the other promotion you only get the extra data for only 13 months.
The $40 plan with 15 GB data is a far better deal and won't cost you anymore money.

If you want to get an even better option, the $40 for 15GB plan on the 4g network is still available under your change plan.
Just log on to the self-serve, select Plan and Add on, then Change Plan, scroll down one plan under the 4g category and you should see this:

Sorry, but that offer is only for new customers. Existing customers aren't eligible. That hasn't changed from before.
