The phone itself is worth around $400 if working and still in good condition.
But they don't seem to make the display panels anymore. iFixit and Amazon don't sell anymore, eBay prices range from $150 to $250+ for (used/salvaged) Grade B and Grade C panels. Also $35 to $75 for touchscreen digitizer, if it's broken. And $15 for gorilla glasstop, if it's cracked.
You could do the repair yourself (see iFixit guides and videos). You would need to spend about $20 for the special screwdrivers and tools if you dont already have.
You could pay someone else to do the repair, any competent laptop/cellphone repair shop will charge about $20 to $50, it would take them 10 minutes or 20 minutes to charge you for an hour of labour. (Plus of course the cost of parts, plus shipping costs and delays since it's unlikely they'll have any in stock.)
If the data on this device are precious and irreplaceable then repair cost is unavoidable. That's why backups.
If the battery on this device is approaching or exceeding two years then it's likely dying as well. $45 for new battery.
You might also want to invest in screen protector and phone case. For obvious reasons.
