Use the 3 dots top right of your screen to save it. Enable data and try sending an mms message and surfing the internet.

- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- On the Networks tab, tap More. ...
- Tap Mobile networks.
- Tap Access Point Names.
- Edit the settings.
- Tap the 3 dots top right of your screen select Save and exit.
Enable data and Try surfing or sending an mms message.

I did a factory reset when i got the phone then added my PM sim into the phone. I have no issue with regular texting

@CharChar_xxo LG phones require at minimum a network reset and sometimes a factory reset to work properly on PM.
LG G5 - Reset Network Settings
- From a Home screen, navigate: Settings. > System > Reset. ...
- Tap Network settings reset.
- Tap RESET SETTINGS.
- Tap Reset Settings.
After enable data, restart your phone reset your APN settings if required.

Got the phone second hand when i moved to canada. Got it unlocked so i could use the phone with public mobile. I can use the internet

@CharChar_xxo Data needs to be on for MMS to work. If your data is on then check your APN settings to make that APN type contains mms.
If you have an iPhone make sure you have enabled mms within iMessage.
