Picture Messaging Issues

Hey,

so I have this plan currently:

As it says, I have Unlimited International Tex, with Picture Messaging. The thing is, everytime I try to send a photo to someone via text message, it instantly says failed to send. While on iMessage, it works fine.

Sounds like an APN issue. When you send to other iPhones you are using data not cell network as when you send a text message. You need to check your APm settings and make sure thay are set for Public Mobile network. See attached info for iPhone set up.

Is your data on? Make sure data is enabled in the control centre (on apple devices, if you swipe up, it’s the button beside airplane mode).

Whether or not you have data in your plan or add-ons...you need data mode to be on to send and receive MMS.

iMessage?? dunno. not an Apple guy.

Yes this specifically happenned to me too. I updated my Iphone to the new ISO and it took care of the problem! Hope that helps! 🙂

Great advise so far. I saw another post from an iPhone user, and the fix for his was to update his OS to the latest.... Just mentioning in case it's that simple 🙂

@Indigo try checking the app Message settings. MMS messaging must be turned on to text pictures.

Sounds like and iMessage configuration issue. Is it configured to use only Wi-Fi?
