I want to sign up with Public but i cannot get an e-sim card on my phone. It is a Galaxy S9 plus and isn't supported by your system.i have been a loyal customer with Telys and Koodo for 25+ years. My wife is a Public customer. I dont think i shoild have to pay for a physical sim card to sign up with Public

To add to what has been said already, your phone likely will not be VoLE compatbile with Public mobile network.
Check the IME on the phone on the VoLTE checker:

If your phone is not VoLTE compatible, you may have voice issues with PM network and PM has been charging extra $5 for customers to use 3G network until it gets decommissioned next year.

You have to change phone! S9+ will not work with PM after March '27 and you Might start get charged $5/30 days for using 3G (old phone).
Even if you were PM CEO you would have to change phone as technology advances and companies are forcing us to get new toys. See what Microsoft is (trying) to do with 'old', perfectly good PCs.

@NeilRom The loyalty doesn't matter when purchasing Public Mobile sim card. You must purchase it from stores or Amazon. Try looking around on marketplace or site and see if anyone is offering free sim in exchange you use their referral code during sign up.
