Physical SIM Card Activation and Transfer my Phone Number

I just received my physical SIM card.

Suppose I will activate it tomorrow (3 Dec 2023), will the first month for the monthly plan be started from 3 Dec 2023 to 2 Jan 2024?

How can I transfer my phone number from other service provider to public mobile?

Is it necessary to wait for a message from PM confirming the transfer is complete before switching the SIM card?

@Chris_Yuen  Yes the 30 days will start once you activate the sim and you can transfer the number over to PM at the time of activation using the app not website . And be sure to leave old providers SIM card in the phone so you can reply YES to the confirmation text to port and then put the PM SIM card in the phone after that 

add and don’t use the IMEI number it’s not needed just use old providers account number
