Phone won't dial out

Please help! My phone hangs up immediately when I try to dial out. 

 

I tried restarting and checking if I have active status. My bills are paid.

@Tishie1 did you open ticket with PM support as advised earlier?

 

can you receive incoming calls? and data working?

So the solution was to get a ticket and have mods look into it. Somehow my phone number had changed to an out-of-service number. When I was looking at "about phone" in settings it had this number. The moderator changed my number somehow to the right number and my phone works!

what brand your device.

@Tishie1   depends on your phone, but on Android, these are the general steps

1 Launch Settings > Connections.
2 Tap on Mobile networks.
3 Select Network Mode.
4 Choose your preferred Network Mode.

How do you change to 3G?

@Tishie1   Try to change the Preferred network to 3G Only and see if it works

 

If not, open ticket with PM Support:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply you there

@Tishie1 if you check the phone status, is it showing it connected to the network?  Any signal bar?  

 

And you can login to My Account without trouble?

 

Try to change the preferred network type to 3G Only and see if it helps

I activated the phone over a year ago and it was working until today

I have unlimited $25 a month plan. I just checked and my payments are up to date. I now can't receive text messages and when people call it says my number is out of service 

 

I tried to submit a ticket and it would not accept it.

@Tishie1  what plan do you have? $15 or $13 with limited outgoing minutes? or those without unlimited outgoing minutes?

 

Also, it hangs up immediately, not even an error recording?

 

do you have another phone around to test out the PM SIM card?  just want to confirm it is not a device issue

 

And you tried to call from a different places from where you are now?
