if you want to make sure your device is will working with public mobile you can go to any store for Telus or Koodo and Test from them has SIM card for test and if working and will working with public mobile because the using same group family network..

 @Jackson2 : ...or the CDMA version out of the states if it's its own model that doesn't have the other frequencies/protocols. It's not always a simple yes or no. It depends. You just need to know where the phone originated out of and the full model number.

People bring their phones from wherever they came from and then wonder why it doesn't work for a certain provider. Those that buy phones new in Canada for the Canadian market should have nothing to worry about.

Motorola  Moto G6?  If so, the Canadian version is fully compatible.   

 

But stay away from the International version and the India version, they won't connect as good as the Canadian version

Yes. Public mobile uses the telus network. The only difference is pm uses the 3G network for voice calls.

  • 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
  • HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).
