When trying to make local phone calls it says it is long distance and am unable to make the call. Incoming calls are also not working. Texts still seem to work. I am new with public mobile and don’t know how to get help.

Oh! I didn’t realize that the minutes rounded up and wasn’t accounting for that! Now I feel a little sheepish. 😊 you are probably right about my minutes. Thank you all for your help!

1. I wonder if your voicemail call forwarding is not working due to you saying that callers get nothing. They should drop to your voicemail.
2. As for minutes, lower down in your overview page you'll see a couple lines like add-ons. One for outgoing texts and another for minutes. If there then you have some left. If you don't see them then you've used them. I suspect you don't see the minutes line item and therefore have used all your minutes. Remember that calls round up to the next minute. You have a call for 1:05...it rounds up to 2 minutes. Remember that the $10 plan is ALL minutes whether in or out.
When is your renewal day?

Very strange, if no changes were made, and suddenly phone calls can't be made/received. I'm still leaning towards all the minutes being used up. Anyway, for now as @RobertQc and @Anonymous have suggested, send a message to the mods. Response time is between a few hours up to 48 hours. In the meantime, if you need to make calls you can buy a talk add-on which doesn't expire.

As @Anonymous says, you may have run out of minutes. Have you checked your self-serve account to see how much you've used?

I don’t have the do not disturb modes enabled. When someone try’s to call it just disconnects. Doesn’t ring or say anything, just disconnects. It’s very strange.
I have an iPhone SE and I’m using iMessage app for texting.

Thank you so much for your help. I have been a customer for about a month, and the calls were working originally. It’s just been the last Week or so that the calling has not been working.

@Aburbank Almost ten days ago, PM encountered communication problem in QC. People can't make call, but okay with text. I always have a free calling and texting app in my phone. If I have wifi or data, I will call from the app from time to time. The app can access to your contacts and it is quite convenient. In the meantime, you can contact Moderator by sending a private message, envelop icon, to "Moderator_Team". It may take up 2 days to get the response.

If you're on the $10 plan then maybe you've used all 50 total minutes.
If so then you can buy the $8 200 minute add-on and use them until your plan renews. Then it'll revert back to your plan minutes and the remaining 200 minutes will hang around until you need them again.

If you did not port a number in and you selected a new number one of the first things I would try is to log into my self serve (my account) CLICK HERE then click “Plan and Add-on” then click “Lost/Stolen Phone” and click “Suspend Service” and click the “logout” button near your name/account balance. Wait 10 minutes. Log back and do the exact same procedure except this time click reactivate service phone found, reboot your phone. This seems to reset you sim / account and may fix your issue.

Do you have any do not dustrub modes enabled ? When someone calls you what happens, does it go to your voicemail or just rings forever or gives them an error?
What kind of phone are you using, what dialer app are you using, and when you say texting, do you mean sms and mms or just sms?

This might be 2 different problems. For outgoing You might find that adding a ”1” to the beginning of your phone call dial might solve the issue. As long as you have minutes left (are not on a limited calling plan) your account may have a provisioning issues where the database of included calling numbers is corrupted. Please reach out to the moderator team and they should be able to reprovision your account. Click this to send them a message
As for the incomming, did you just port in? How long have you been a customer? Was incomming ever working? If you ported, from where and what day?
