After switching to Public Mobile the following happens:
1) when calling my phone from my landline, a third known cell phone number shows up on my display.
2) If I call one family cell phone it comes up as long distance; if I call another family cell phone from the same house (and room) it comes up as local.
These are what I have found so far. Should I be concerned?

@ileannkneel Since there are never any extra service charges at PM, you only need to be concerned if any of calling, texting, or data fails to work.

Update your contacts list to clear up #1.
You can ignore the "long distance" message if you have the Canada wide calling feature. You won't be billed for anything extra unless you pay in advance. ie; you won't be able to call a US number unless you have a US calling add-on (or the $50 plan). If you try to dial it, it won't connect.

@ileannkneel , all Public Mobile plans include Canada wide calling. So, there should be no "long distance" calls so to speak.

1. Maybe it's a contact with multiple numbers in it.
2. local and long distance depends on the area code and prefix of the number being called. It's not about physical proximity (other than geographical of the area code/prefix)
