I ported my number today, but my iPhone having a hard time verifying my number. I have tried many different things I’ve seen online. Help? I can’t receive or send any sms texts that aren’t iMessage.

Have you checked which SIM is the primary?
Go to Settings, Cellular, scroll down to SIMs and if you see two listed your old SIM might still be the primary.
Confirm the Public Mobile SIM is set on on “Turn on this line” and turn off the other SIM so only one is on.
Hope this helps!

Hello @Kacixoxo
If the port worked, your old SIM card from the other provider should read SOS. If it still shows the name of service on your phone with the SIM installed, the number didn't port properly.
Is your phone actually working though? When you call someone, which number shows up? The temporary or ported number? Another thing you can do is go into network settings and reset the network and then reboot.
However, have you tried rebooting your phone? Also, with the iPhone, you have to go in and change the number in settings for it to read correctly. Let me find you the info on how to do this.
Go to Settings → Apple ID → Name, Phone Numbers, Email
Tap Edit and select Add email or phone number. Add your new phone number and delete the old one. Then, restart your iPhone.
Go to Settings → Messages → Send & Receive.
Check if your new number is registered, if not - try turning off iMessages, wait a bit and turn it back on. After a short time, iMessages should be ready and your new number should be registered.
