I made a phone number transfer to PM but when I try phoning the transferred number it doesn't work. The PM number shown on profile has changed so not sure what the issue is. My phone/data information on my other carrier is still there as well.

Use the SIM from your old carrier for now, when it stops working the port is complete and you can switch to your PM SIM.

@Kaguya stay with your old carrier for now..until it's fixed wit PM..How long did you port your number??? It's normal few hours or 5 days if it was a home phone number...
