I would like to put a new credit card on my account and can't figure out how to do that

Go to Payments and then Manage Your Card

It if fails very first time, try 15-20 min later with different browser or in incognito mode.

Log in to your account and click on the Payments tab and scroll down to Manage Payment Method then click Update card information.
