I’ve recently bought a Sim card and $100 worth of vouchers from my local store to hopefully set up my account at home. I’ve had nothing but complications. I do not even get the option to using a voucher to create my account. Is there a toll free number I can call during daytime to possibly fix this.

Unfortunately, you are unable to activate a new account with vouchers by yourself (CSA help is needed).

With your VISA debit card, first make sure that you debit card was not charged.  

If not charged, you can try again with above suggestions. 

 

If have to activate with vouchers alone, you will need to contact customer service agent.  The agent will create a suspended new account and you then can load up your vouchers.

Inexplicably when public mobile decided to go back to a 100%online only mobile provider they decided to eliminate the option of activating with a voucher (?!!) As a result you must get customer support to activate your account unless you have access to a credit card or credit/debit card.**

 

You will need to supply the following information:

 

  1. First and Last name.
  2. Province and postal code.
  3. Email address
  4. Password
  5. 4 digit account pin #.
  6. City/Town or area code preference for a temporary phone #. You can port in afterwards thru your self serve account or change your number if you wish.
  7. Referral code for your $10 bonus referral credit.

When supplying #4 & #5 (password & pin #) Choose "temporary" ones that you can later change in your self serve account for security and peace of mind. Keep this info somewhere safe and secure in case you need it for future reference.

 

You may find it difficult to submit a ticket via SIMon. If so send a private message with "Activate new account with vouchers" in the subject line. Leave a detailed message but  wait for the CSA to reply before supplying the account info (above #1 thru #7). Click below to send a private message....

Keep an eye on your private message box the envelope icon at the top right corner of your screen next to your avatar for a little number to pop up indicating a reply from customer support. Responding promptly will speed up wait times but customer support opens at 6am eastern and closes at 10pm eastern....7 days a week.

Before activating the SIM, clear the cache and go incognito on your browser on a laptop or desktop computer then try entering your CC information on page 4. Once activation is completed, enter the vouchers to cover future payments.

There are hoops to jump through if you use vouchers to activate your SIM and create a new account.

It will be easier to use a reloadable CC which you can purchase from any grocery store or gas station.

But since you have purchased vouchers, only a CS_Agent can help you activate with vouchers.

Or you can use the reloadable CC to activate the SIM and once it is activated, you can enter the vouchers in the Payment section to cover future payments.

Sorry, but there isn't any phone number to contact customer service.  Please open a ticket to contact a Public Mobile customer support agent. This is done through the chatbot. Use this link:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html

 

The customer support agent will be able to open the Public Mobile account for you and you will be able to use the vouchers to pay for your plan.

I’ve purchased a Sim card and $100 worth of vouchers from my local store to create an account. I am having difficulties on the online profile. I have also tried my debit visa and neither transactions are working to create my new public mobile account hoping someone can help me find a solution.
