Hello team,
I have recently changed my wife's plan as she still got a lot of data on her account. So instead of picking the 12 GB I picked the 6GB as she can carry those 12GB remaining balance I think.
Nonetheless, I have paid her bill on the 25th of July and her balance due is today; however, since I have paid the new plan I thought I would have some Available Funds right now but it does not show anything. Would you guys know if tmr eveyrthing will be fine or She will get her phone cut off?
I need to know because her business depand heavily on her phone.
Please HELP!!! :^(
Cheers,
Vinnie Silva

@VinnieSilva, data does not carry over from plan to plan. The data is over the 90 days. What you may have read is that any unused data in your first 30 days carries over with you until the end of your 90 days. THe only data that carries over with you until it is all used up is a data addon.
If data rolled over I would have something like 35GB to use lol

Hey @VinnieSilva,
There seems to be a misunderstanding.
The data allowance included in our plans is to be used within the duration of the plans. So we have 90 days to use up 12GB. After 90 days are up, all unused data out of the 12GB will be lost.
The optional data add-ons we can purchase from selfserve never expire. Those data add-ons act as a backup and only get used after you have run out of data included in your plan. These are the ones that never expire until used in full.
Just curious, where did you read that the data rolls over? None of us have this feature, thats why I am wondering.

Good morning team,
so when I was enrolling with PM I thought on the contract they said that for any GB not used I would accumulate or carry it to my next period. Example, on the screenshot above you can clearly see that my wife's account has about 10GB unused so it should be carried to the next bill according to the contract. So, today in the morning look what I have found:
It means my wife has lost those 10GB she has not used? How come? It states on the contract that the remaining balance would be carried over. Am I wrong guys? Can someone please explaing it? Much appreciated.

Hello team,
So I have gotten this issue solved. :^) Woohoo
What I tried to do:
- So I got my wife, 3 months ago, the plan wich comes with 12GB data and unlimeted phone calls yatta yatta..
- Since she has not used the whole full 12GB, she used only 10GB, I thought I could then change her plan and use the remaining balance on data. Turns out I cannot as The new plan would set my account back.
Resolution:
I talked to one of the PM_Mod and they have credited my account with what I have paid and I just had to place the remaining balance. However, my wife will keep the same account as before.
Now, I will keep a close eye to it tomorrow, my wife's renewer date, and see if I have not lost the data.
I will let you guys know tmr if she has now 25GB to be used.
Cheers,
Vinnie Silva

Hello Melissa,
See I told you guys :^)
Anyways, it was a week ago but here it is what I can remember.
Let me know how to proceed, since I have paid $ 116.55 already, how do I pay for the remaining balance of $84.45?
Cheers,
Vin

Hi Vinnie!
I can definitely let the 90 day plan with 12GB, Canada Wide + SMS for 201$
However, before to proceed, I would need to know the new plan you selected once you did the payment on July 25 and.
Thank you for your understanding Vinnie 🙂

I understand the savings as you mentioned are significant.
On plan change page, there is an option to future-date the change to take effect on next renewal date. You should use this feature to avoid losing any remaining days of current plan.

I am not quite sure to be hones with you but yeah I would save some money there, her first account plan we had to pay 211 now we paid 116.55 and she still has 10GB from the previous account. She does not uses much apparetnly.
I have sent the private message as you suggested thank you so much.
I hope they get back to me as soon as possible.
I will post the asolution as soon as I have it.
Cheers,
Vin

For account specific inquiry, its best to send a private message to @CS_Agent and get a definitive answer.
I am curious regarding your logic for changing the plan. Are you absolutely sure that you are saving money by changing plans? I ask because recently, PM increased prices and new 6GB plans are much more expensive than the old plans.
