how are you making payment now? credit card? did you try to add the Scotia bank visa debit card?
If you tried but website gave you error, wait 24 hours and try again as the update card process sometimes gives error for no reason

be aware that you can only use valid credit or debit for payment. You can use vouchers also if you want to.

You cannot pay PM bill on your bank account.
But instead, you can add the banks Visa debit to PM's My Account. To update payment, you will have to login My Account, go to Profile -> Manage Subscription -> Update Card information and you can update it there
