I wanted to change the plan immediately. Then I was asked to.choose top up or activate by next due. As I had run out of data I decided to top up and paid. Then when I chose to change plan it said if I choose so, payment done to current plan will not be utilised. So I have extra money in my account, but of no use for current or future plan.....I felt cheated.

if the aystem added the available funds into your account and you are still on your original plan. then go back to the plans and add-ons page and select the plan and choose change plan immediately again.
Plan changes don't work the same way that add-ons do. The payment and immediate plan change is done in one step. In fact, if you don't already have enough funds in the account balance, you don't have to a chocie and the system will force you to pay first. However, the two step method isn't necessary.

You'll have to decide if you want to stay on your current plan or change now to get more data. Sorry, but you will not receive any credit for the old plan that you're leaving behind. If you had decided to not change your plan, the other option would have been to purchase a data add-on.

*before making this change, login to your self serve, click on plans and add-ons tab again and make sure there isn't a pending plan change. if there is just cancel it and then follow the steps above

PM is a prepaid plan so that you won’t be overcharged or cheated. For example, if you buy a data add-on and use half of it in 30 days, the rest rolls over. If you add $100 to your account, the balance of your plan would be automatically deducted.

@shanthic68 Regardless of the transaction process you followed to change plans immediately, if you have the extra in your available funds of your account, they will be used on your next renewal. You won't be cheated.
