I have a number ported which does not get texts, phonecalls
doesnt work
my old number from PM is now closed
i have no hotspot
i just want a number that works with a phone

Some trouble shooting for your to try:
*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot
*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode
*reset network settings
*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.
*Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

Are you in the process to port INTO PM or port your number OUT of PM?

Pleae re-insert your old carrier's SIM card. You need to respond to a text message to authorize the number port. Also, those incoming calls will continue to go there until poritng is complete.

Are you a returning customer? If so maybe your port is not complete. I will email you the Telus porting team number. Check the envelope icon top right corner.
