Other companies alerted me to a new voicemail with an emblem on the on-screen phone icon

Do I actually have to call me voicemail to check to see if I have any new voicemails waiting? My previous companies would have a small emblem on the main-screen phone icon so I'd just have to glance to see if I needed to go inside and listen to something. Doesnt PM do something similar? Thanks for your expertise!

I would think that all phones have that notification on screen for voicemail.  Perhaps the notifications are off?

@Scottybdj   My phone and my former phone on Public Mobile always alerted me.  I think I have read some people with iPhones don't always get a notification but that hasn't happened so far with mine.

are you on iPhone? Try to click Reset network settings on your phone and see if it helps

Also, make sure your iOS is updated to the latest one
