Oppo A58 after system update unable to make calls

I am using oppo A58 and there was a system update last night but unable to make phone calls after the update. The screen shows calling but nothing happens after that. Mobile data is working. Please advise.

overall, you should go  back to use a mainstream Android phone

Thank you for replying. 4G mobile data is working but does not place any calls and it shows calling and nothing after that. Should I wait for some time if it's a public mobile might fix it or better start looking for a different phone.

try your PM sim in a different cellphone. If the sim works in a different cell, then the prob is your OPPO A58. Give it a try as long as you're using a hard sim...if using esim, forget that suggestion.

it's weird, from what I see , Oppo A58 4G does not have any compatible bands on 3G for voice call, 

it has only band 5 for data, so , even data and VoLTE shouldn't work

Tried rebooting. But doesn't help. : I even when I call to check voice mail. It remains at calling screen and nothing happens after that.

have you tried rebooting that phone...see if that helps.

@Canaeem , this phone has very limited compatibility and likely can only make calls on 3G.  Something must have broke calling after the update.  I am not sure much can be done here.
