OTP going to wrong number

I transferred my number to public mobile months ago and everything seems to be working fine till recently when I noticed I had no data each time I left the house. I am still able to make and receive calls. I Tried to log into the mobile app when I got home but the OTP seem to be going to a different number as the very last digit was wrong. My number ends with ***887 but it shows the OTP was sent to ***882. Isn't there a way to signin with email instead or have the OTP go to my email? I had to create a new profile with another email just to sent this message.

check if you can login using e-mail to receive the code first

On the 2FA screen, click "Didn't Receive code" or "Resend Code" and choose "Send email" or "Send Voice Message" to get 2FA.   

if you can login, go to Profile > Manage EverSafe ID and update the phone number
