I was setting up my esim when this happened. I was in the activation process and I got a text from my old provider (Freedom Mobile) to transfer my phone number. I responded with ”yes”. But when i went back to the public mobile app, the activation process had reset. When I tried entering my old number, it said that its an invalid number. When i called my old service provider, they said my number had already been transferred to public mobile. Need help because i need to keep the same number.

I’m having the same problem. I activated yesterday but phone phone number is in limbo somewhere. I have no idea what to do and I’m very frustrated.

Logout of app and log back in.
Remember, your Freedom SIM will continue to work for 45 minutes to 2 hours until porting is completed.

hi @Kavidinal yes, you don't need to enter the number again as that port was already requested
I think you need support to help to complete the activation and check what was missed
please submit ticket by message
