Number transfer issue

Good day, my phone has 2 sims.  (1 esim, & 1 sim) . To transfer from Roger's to Public Mobile,  I had to delete my Roger's sim. Therefore I was unable to receive SMS from Roger's to proceed with number transfer. 

My alternative number is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I cannot receive SMS with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi @Donald750,

Your previous account and SIM would need to be active in order to port the existing number over to Public Mobile. If you call Rogers and a verbal approval is not accepted by them, maybe you can request that they activate a new SIM on your phone so that you can receive the transfer text message. It is important that you Reply YES to the transfer request within 90 minutes.

@Donald750  for eSIM, you can disable and you don't need to delete

But try calling Rogers and see what they can do.  They might be able to accept your verbal port approval.  Or they might ask you to rebuy Roges eSIM (but make sure you just disable PM esim if that is the case) and you will then need to ask PM to resend the poring request
