Number transfer issue: please help!!!

Hi, I transferred to PM a week ago and transferred my old number. All was working fine until I got a message from PM just now that they cannot transfer my number and they assigned me a new number. Please HELP, I absolutely need my old number transferred!!!

@computergeek541  So maybe in that case OP should see if there old service provider still works ? I’m guessing they still have service with old provider because port didn’t complete . Or the miner just wasn’t eligible in first place

 After a cetain amount of time of a number porting not being completed, a new number being assigned happens auatomically.  Before trying again, please make sure that the nubmer can actually be transferred to Public Mobile.  Which city is the phone number from? Not all phone numbers can be brought here.

By the time a Public Mobile forces a customer to take a new phone number, the port request would have been cancelled.  I do not believe that the porting team can help.
