I successfully ported our landline from Telus to PM last July....BUT, I can still log into the Telus profile page as of today Jan. 2/26....there are no other devices on that account, landline was the only thing....Telus says it takes some time for their system to catch up....I'm still waiting....🙄...
Just keep an eye on your landline account page....

hi @Pipcan1 do not cancel your landline yet, number must be with an active account in order to port in
when your subscribe, use PM app. You will be asked to enter the phone number to port in after payment step. Give PM the phone number and the account number of your current carrier. Your new PM subscription will not have a temporary number. You will be assigned the number you want to port in , but it will only work for outgoing calls and data . incoming calls will work after port is completed, which will take 3 to 7 days for number coming from landline

Hi @Pipcan1,
If you cancel your landline prior to transferring over to PM, you will end up losing your existing number. Your landline needs to remain active during the transfer to Public Mobile if you wish to keep your current phone number. Once your transfer to Public Mobile is completed, your landline service will terminate automatically.
