I took out my Sim card too early and did not receive the text from my old provider. Now I cannot receive messages or calls.
How do I get public mobile to send my old provider a transfer request so that they can text me?

Or get another sim from the old provider and apply it to your old account and have it in a phone and then call the porting number provided and have the port request re-triggered.
You might be able to do a verbal confirmation with the old provider too. But that's up to them to allow.

Then the porting can’t be completed unless your old carrier is Telus or Koodo.
You will need to pick a new number then.

Just put back your old SIM and see if you got the text if you are within the 90 minute window.
If not, contact a CS_Agent by creating a ticket on SIMon Chatbot below or private message them on envelope icon above to restart the porting process.
