Hi,
I've just transferred the phone number I was using on Public Mobile to another carrier but I did not want to cancel service with Public, only change the number associated with the account. Is there a way to reactivate? I'm not able to login using my usual credentials.
Thanks.

@Rai Officially, that is correct.
Although, some cases have been reported of charges to cards after ports in the past.
Keep an eye out on your credit card statement, or if you feel more comfortable confirming the card is removed and will not be charged contact Public Mobile Representatives (CSA) by submitting a message(ticket) to them here:

So even if I was on Autopay I'll never be charged anymore until I choose to sign back up with a new SIM with Public?

Once you port out your old number, that is it…your account will be cancel immediately.

@Rai By default your account terminates when you port out. There is no way to reactivate the same account. This is the case on every carrier when you port out a number. You will need to activate another account if you like to stick with Public Mobile.

@Rai - sorry, yeah, porting out of Public Mobile automatically closes your account, and rewards or Available Funds are lost, and you lose access to your Self Serve account.
Only way to reactivate, is to port back in. But you need a new SIM card, because you cannot use the one you closed out from.
EDIT: did you approve the port via a text yet on your Public Mobile SIM card?
IF not, then the account may still be alive. Just don't respond yes to the port....but since you cannot log in, I am guessing that time as passed.

No, sorry... once you have successfully ported out the number, your PM account is closed. This is the way it works with all carriers.
