I'm attempting to move my mom to a more budget friendly phone provider with Public but can't get confirmations via message or email so prices is hung. Received same IMEI error others have mentioned. I have to fly back to the US tomorrow and can't leave her with a disabled phone! I can put her Telus SIM back in and make calls but texting is broken so can't move forward or undo. What can I do to resolve?? Help!

Hey @CAT6840 Sadly using your IMEI number can screw things up. You will have to reach a CS Agent.

Just a heads up though. Telus has a Pay As You Go deal. $100 for 1 year of unlimited Talk and Text to anywhere in Canada. Might be worth looking into to save money.
