Not receiving calls

I can make calls but not receive calla. New PM Sim card.

I put the card in another phone and the result is the same. Is this a defected Sim card. And if so, how do I get this problem solved.

Did you transfer/port from another provider?

 

If so and it has been over the allotted time to complete the port, submit a ticket with Public Mobile representatives (CSA) for help; click this link for issues with transfer/porting of phone numbers over to Public Mobile.

 

  • Cell ports can take 2-3 hours. Use the previous provider's SIM card to receive the porting transfer text for approval, within 90 minutes, to port over to Public Mobile and to receive calls from until port is complete.
  • Landline/voip ports can take 3+ days. Expect a mix of services on the landline and Public Mobile SIM card until port is complete.

When the incoming calls stop on the previous provider’s SIM card and/or landline/voip account, that is a good indication the port is complete.

Can you try your SIM into another phone? If calls still don't work Turn off VoLTE if you have a VoLTE enabled phone. If that does not work, connect with contact customer service agent for assistance.

Did you respond "YES" to the port authorization request when porting the number here.

 

Is your old provider service account STILL active?   

 

If it is, the port maybe didn't complete.
